Situated inside the Morisset show ground, we are open Tuesday and Thursday in our new shed that was built 2 years ago. We are small and friendly  group, currently with 35 members,.

We do community projects, wood and metal repairs/hobbies  and cater for a wide cross section and level  of abilities

 

.With a well equiped workshop, coffee and conversation on tap , it a great destination if your at a loose end, feeling isolated or just looking for connection.

Southlakes U3A is a Morisset-based organisation of about 400 people, most of whom are retired.  As part of the national U3A network it gives people the opportunity to share the knowledge and skills gained over a lifetime in an informal and fun environment. 

Southlakes U3A currently runs over forty courses varying from yoga and meditation to guitar and ukulele to bushwalking and karate.

Southlake Community Services is a local, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting and supporting people in the South Lake Macquarie area.

 

The organisation incorporates four key projects including Southlake Neighbourhood Centre, Southlake Youth Service, Horizons Disability Support Program, and Southlake Out of School Hours Service.

 

Based out of Morisset Multipurpose Centre, we have a range of community programs, groups, services and opportunities that provide engagement, information, referral and advocacy for the local community.

 

Southlake Community Services works to build an inclusive and welcoming community which values local participation, fairness and access.
